size employing more than 20 highly qualified computer scientists,

For many years, the TriCore Compiler of the GNU Development Platform has been in
successful operation
with all the leading companies on the automotive
sector and in a number of other industrial fields. Resulting from a
close cooperation with several automotive manufacturers and with
Infineon, numerous optimisations within the compiler, and special
features for supporting the TriCore architecture were introduced. The
basic element of the TriCore PXROS-HR Development Platform is a porting
of the GNU compiler and debugger, the integrated development
environment Code::Blocks, and the realtime operating system PXROS-HR.
